WuXi Biology CNS Platform - Scientific Fellow

Requirements

  1. Technology Tracking & Platform Development
    • Track the latest research progress and technologies in CNS field, especially Alzheimer’s disease (AD) area.
    • Lead the development and application of cutting-edge capabilities and in vivo models for pharmacological study.
  2. Client Engagement & Scientific Presentation
    • Proactively engage domestic and international client project collaborations.
    • Participate in client meetings and leading scientific discussion.
    • Present platform capabilities to potential clients and external audiences.
  3. Market Development Support
    • Work closely with the BD team to conduct client visits and support global market expansion.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Chemistry, DMPK, TOX) to drive project progress.
    • Provide expert knowledge in neurobiology and in vivo pharmacology.
    • Assist clients in resolving technical challenges encountered during research.
  5. Proposal & Scientific Oversight
    • Lead project quoting and pricing.
    • Oversee experimental design, data analysis, and result interpretation.
    • Ensure scientific rigor and reliability throughout the research process.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Education & Experience
    • Ph.D. in Neurobiology, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
    • 15+ years of relevant research or industry experience, with deep focus on Alzheimer’s disease.
    • Prior experience in drug development pipelines at a biotech or big pharma.
  2. Strategic & Innovative Mindset
    • Deep insights into the AD drug development landscape.
    • Forward-thinking and innovative, capable of leading the team to explore emerging areas.
  3. Language
    • English as work language.
  4. Technical Expertise
    • Extensive hands-on experience with both in vivo and in vitro CNS pharmacology.
    • Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies and methods in neurobiology and in vivo pharmacology.
    • Proven ability to independently design and lead complex studies.
  5. Communication Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on efficiency and clarity.
    • Ability to streamline communication across internal teams and external partners, ensuring project requirements and progress are conveyed accurately and without delay.
  6. Project Management & Leadership
    • Exceptional project management capabilities.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate the team to achieve high-level execution and delivery.
  7. Teamwork
    • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
