We are seeking a Research Associate to join the Biochemistry team based in Munich, Germany. In close collaboration with the various departments at Crelux you will work on projects covering a wide variety of target classes and modalities.
Requirements
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of the Biochemistry team
- Perform and optimize biochemical assays, including HTRF/TR-FRET, luminescence-based assays, protein–protein interaction assays, and enzyme kinetics studies
- Develop, maintain, and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Document experimental data, support data analysis and interpretation, and contribute to result reporting and troubleshooting activities
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of experimental work in accordance with internal guidelines and quality standards
- Contribute to the development of new methods and assays and the continuous improvement of existing processes
- Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues within the area of responsibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline; alternatively, qualification as a laboratory technician (MTA, BTA, PTA, or equivalent)
- Hands-on laboratory experience in an industrial, CRO, or academic research environment
- Experience performing plate-based biochemical assays, such as HTRF/TR-FRET, luminescence-based assays, protein–protein interaction assays, and enzyme kinetics studies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate experimental records
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required; German language skills are preferred. Proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated interest in adopting new technologies, methodologies, and laboratory techniques
