To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Research Associate (m/f/d) with a background as Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA/MTA) or a Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology, or related life sciences.
Requirements
- Perform cell based assays (e.g., proliferation, viability, reporter assays, immunoassays, nanoBRET, etc.)
- Culture and maintain primary cells and cell lines,
- Establish, optimize, and validate new assay formats
- Document all work according to industry standards and internal SOPs
- Analyze and interpret experimental data (e.g., using Excel, GraphPad Prism)
- Collaborate closely with Senior Scientists and other laboratory teams
- Contribute to study reports and scientific presentation
Qualifications
- Completed training as TA (BTA/CTA/MTA) or a Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field
- Hands on experience with cell culture (adherent and/or suspension)
- Practical experience with cellular assays and basic molecular biology techniques
- Accurate, structured, and reliable working style
- Strong team spirit and motivation to work in a dynamic environment
- Good command of English and German, both written and spoken
- Experience with stem cell culture, 3D cell culture, and organoids is a plus
