The Site Administration Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Middletown site leadership team. This internship is designed to support business operations while providing hands on exposure to corporate administration, business operations, employee engagement, and cross functional coordination within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The intern will assist with administrative activities, scheduling coordination, onboarding support, internal communications, event coordination, and operational projects under the guidance and supervision of the Site Administration team.

This position is structured to support business needs while also providing professional development and learning opportunities in business administration and site operations.

Please note: this internship is on-site daily at our Middletown, DE facility. We will not consider candidates that need to relocate. 

Requirements

  • Provide administrative support to the Site Head and Site Administration team
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, managing conference room coordination, and calendar support
  • Support preparation of presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and internal communications
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, town halls, site events, and onboarding coordination
  • Help organize and maintain administrative records, trackers, and filing systems
  • Coordinate office supply inventory and administrative requests
  • Support visitor coordination and meeting logistics
  • Assist with data entry and document management activities
  • Collaborate with departments including HR, Facilities, Procurement, IT, and Operations on administrative tasks and special projects
  • Participate in process improvement and operational support initiatives
  • Complete assigned projects and deliverables under direct supervision

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in:
    • Business Administration
    • Management
    • Operations Management
    • Communications
    • Human Resources
    • Project Management
    • Or related field
  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude with strong attention to detail

 

Internship Guidelines

  • Intern must work under the supervision of the designated manager/supervisor
  • Intern responsibilities will be administrative and operational in nature
  • Intern will not independently perform regulated or core laboratory activities, including GMP operations, controlled testing, or activities requiring formal qualification or certification
  • Internship duration may not exceed 90 calendar days
  • Internship classification is temporary hourly/non exempt
